He has been a Financial Adviser since 1988 and a Pension Transfer Specialist since 2001. Simon was previously a scientist having studied Physics at Nottingham University (he got a 2:2) so he approaches problem solving from a very logical and scientific angle.

Having successfully raised 2 children to adulthood though, he also understands the importance of emotion when it comes to financial planning. Just because it is logical to do something doesn't necessarily mean it is easy to do.
